Star Gaze is a London-based artist specialising in fibre arts, drawing and photography.

“Community and connection is at the heart of my practice. Over the last four years, I have dedicated myself to creating a photographic archive of London’s drag and cabaret subculture. 

Inspired by this, my textiles work uses the visual language of costume and performance in order to examine themes of gender performativity, queer temporality and becoming. 

I am excited about continuing to explore the capability of fabric as a medium for community-building, story telling and alternative archiving.”
